Final preparations just before the start. You can feel the adrenalin in the air
1st Discipline
Ski-touring
At 14.00 hrs, the starting pistol was fired for the ski-tourers, who completed the 1.7 kilometres and 430 metres in elevation in the shortest time possible.
2nd Discipline
Paraglide
The paraglide pilots need to use the thermals to their advantage to fly down to the valley as quickly as possible, before proving just how fit they are by running to the changeover zone as fast as they can.
4th Discipline
SKI / BOARD
The skiers were confronted with a giant-slalom course, with a few obstacles thrown in for good measure before the finish line.
3rd Discipline
Bike
The bikers have to head uphill again over the 4.1 kilometre long course with 430 metres in elevation. Jochen Käs pulled the stops out here to secure the necessary advantage, handing over at the top as leader.

The starting pistol for the ski-tourers was fired under blue skies at 14.00 hrs sharp.
2nd Discipline
Paraglide
The thermals were good, so the paraglide pilots could fly as quickly as possibly down the predetermined flight corridor towards the finish area.
3rd Discipline
Bike
The bikers battled it out along the 4.1 kilometre uphill course, back to the changeover area

Patrick Auer secured victory for his team with his downhill run.

Due to adverse weather conditions, the ski tourers ran this discipline.

The paraglide pilots also sprinted at full pelt with their chutes on their backs to the changeover area.
3rd Discipline
SKI
Arrival of the paraglide pilots at the changeover zone signals the start for the ski sprinters, who pass the baton the the mountain bikers after an exhausting downhill run.
4th Discipline
BIKE
Mountain bikers have the final discipline and battle over these crucial metres in uphill elevation to the finish line.

After the contest it was curtains up for the after-party with the "Fyling Steps" break dance crew.

Skitouring
The start pistol was fired at 14.00 hrs and the ski-tourers sprinted up the 1.3 km long course and 410 metres in elevation, before handing over to the paraglide pilots.
2nd Discipline
Paragleiten
There were great jubilations in the finish area when the first paragliders landed and handed over to the mountain bikers after a 400-meter sprint.
3rd Discipline
Bike
The 3.7 km long route took the bikers up to the Wiesenhof again.
4. Disziplin
Ski / Board
The team skiers or snowboarders raced down the slope, with a few obstacles to contend with before the finish.

Winner's Ceremony
"Bienen-Häusl" Team wins the 2nd RISE&FALL event, ahead of the previous year's winners, "DYNAFIT Mountainshop Hörhager".

After the event a party atmosphere prevailed at the festival grounds with German rock band "Revolverheld".

33 ski-tourers battled it out along the 410 metres in elevation at the premiere event.
2nd Discipline
Paraglide
After the changeover, the paraglider pilots had to get into the valley as soon as possible in extremely challenging conditions.
3rd Discipline
Bike
Bike marathon European Champion Alban Lakata passed the baton to the final athlete as leader in the "Bike" discipline.
4th Discipline
Ski / Board
Roman Rohrmoser swept his team to victory with his downhill run in the final discipline.

Winner's Ceremony
Team Dynafit triumphed at the 1st RISE&FALL 2012. A total of 33 teams joined the start line.
Party Mood
Sportfreunde Stiller
After all the sporting action, the party commenced with a live concert by local band, Ciela, and international chart toppers "Sportfreunde Stiller" from Munich.
