The Mayrhofen Tourist Board and Mayrhofner Bergbahnen Cable Car Co. joined forces for the first time to organise a combined music and sporting event to kick off the winter season.

Over 30 teams battled for victory in the various disciplines of ski touring, paragliding, mountain bike and ski or snowboarding. Expectations of both spectators and participants were more than satisfied at this incredible event. Spectacular sprints, breathtaking flight manoeuvres and a neck to neck finish all provided great excitement.

Sportfreunde Stiller rocked the Zillertal Valley after the race. 4 people, 1 team, the same goal. This relay competition was a race against time and opposing teams: one team comprised of 4 athletes.

The field was made up of highly motivated amateur athletes and top sportsmen/women from near and far including, amongst others, Markus Kröll, Alban, Lakata, Harald Totschnig, Benjamin Karl, Peter Schlickenrieder and Lothar Leder. They all had one thing in common – to conquer the 410 m in altitude in the best time possible. Be it uphill or downhill: RISE&FALL.

First of all local band "Ciela" go the party atmosphere going from the back of the „Red Bull Brandwagen“. After the awards ceremony, support act "Instrument" got audiences ready for the highlight of the night, the Sportfreunde Stiller.

The winners were Team "DYNAFIT" with Roman Rohrmoser, Jakob Hermann, Patrick Hörhager and Alban Lakata with a time of 38:50,0. Closely followed by Team "CHIEMGAU EDV TRAUNSTEIN" with Christoph Passrugger, Anton Palzer, Lorenz Peer and Andreas Huber (40:24,7) and Team "FRIENDS OF SALEWA" with Eva Walkner, René Fischer, Christian Amon and Hans Peter Obwaller (41:44,2).
